If you want everything to run like clockwork, then a system that comes from a single source is a must. For us at GAT, there is no other way: we take a holistic approach to every project and deliver everything from a single source.
We take full responsibility, from the initial idea to the ongoing operation of your system. With our experienced team, we guarantee seamless support and precise realisation of your projects. Our services do not end with the installation - we also support you with retrofitting and a complete range of services.
Our project process: a single, seamless progression
Analysis of client requirements and situational needs
Development of an individual layout design in close coordination with client
Extensive testing and demonstration of the system’s functionality with our in-house test facility
Precise material flow planning and simulation are crucial for optimised system performance. By identifying and harmonising production processes at an early stage, maximum output and an optimum cost-benefit ratio are achieved.
Determination of the personnel capacity of the individual trades required for the project, integration into the schedule
Finalisation of the layout - detailed planning
Procurement of all parts/components
The system software is created based on the final layout and the detected material flows.
Construction and assembly of the individual components, as well as functional testing at GAT
All components are assembled at the client's premises, software is installed, function tests are executed
Our team remains on-site after commissioning and supports the production process during the first few weeks.
Continuous support from a GAT project manager from conception to ongoing operation
Short commissioning times require perfect preparation at GAT. That is why we have created our own in-house test environment, in which we put every system component through its paces. This ensures that only 100 % functional elements leave our production facility. The GAT concept of eliminating control cables already pays off here since our components only require a 400 volt connection. Whether operating a lifting/lowering station, storage or turnout – SIEMENS iWLAN takes control flawlessly.
Our new hoist test system also allows for checking individual hoists as well as complete travel units in advance. All you have to do on the construction site is place the travel unit on the monorail, switch it on and - it‘s running!
Your system is tried, tested and ready for operation, but we can improve its performance. Technological advances and regular modernisation increase efficiency. Our experts, who specialize in state-of-the-art systems due to ongoing training, ensure that your system is quickly and efficiently brought up to date with retrofit measures, minimising production downtime and preparing your company for the future.
We do everything we can to ensure that your production runs as smoothly as possible - the basic prerequisite for your business success.
We offer you a comprehensive service contract that leaves nothing to be desired. With our competent hotline and online support, technical problems can be analysed immediately so that quick solutions can be found and system downtimes can be minimised or avoided altogether. We are happy to pass on our expertise: our service package includes training your employees in system operation.
Even with the utmost care, an occasional technical failure can never be completely ruled out. We therefore offer you our comprehensive spare parts service for all components installed by us to guarantee quick repairs should it ever be necessary. We initially draw on our in-house spare parts warehouse or otherwise utilise our good supplier relationships to procure the necessary parts for you as promptly and economically as possible.
